Please help me raise money for Activate Good!

Friends… This is my THIRD time taking part in Activate Good’s Couture for a Cause.  Each year chosen designers design a couture look and a ready-to-wear look to walk the runway, which highlights the nonprofits that Activate Good works with, and each group’s contribution to our community.

This year, I am designing two fun, elegant kimonos to bring light and awareness to the LGBT Center of Raleigh. Those two looks will be premiered the night ofNovember 7th, at the Raleigh Convention Center.  Tickets are available HERE.

In lieu of the auction during the fashion show, each of the designers need to raise $200 each.  
This will ensure that we all meet our fundraising goal, but also, this is a contest!! The designer who raises the most money gets a really great prize.  I would really love to bring in the most funds on behalf of my non-profit, and having the added honor of winning this prize would be super spectacular!

Redress Raleigh is FIVE days away!!!!!

Procrastinator or not, I’m one of those people that works until the last minute.
This is soooo not an exception.  I want this show to be my favorite yet!

The Redress Spring Fashion Show is the premier eco-fashion showcase of the Southeast.

The Redress fashion show highlights designers with accessible and innovative collections as well as emphasizing that “green” is in all aspects of life, including fashion. The clothing selected for each show has a strong emphasis on eco-friendly design – examples include recycled, upcycled, or remanufactured garments; eco-friendly fabrics and/or sustainable production processes (such as no-waste pattern making or natural dyes); and/or a domestic supply chain.

Everyone wants an infinity scarf…. everyone HAS an infinity scarf!

Love an infinity scarf?  WELL! Just use a big square one, or you can do the same with a long rectangular!  I suggest a 45×45 inch square or 22×90 inch long scarf!
